It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains more broadly how we handle Personal Information.

How Discrezo approaches cookies
Discrezo is a privacy-focused product.
Our approach to website tracking follows the same principle:

Other technologies, such as optional analytics or advertising tools, are controlled through your cookie choices where consent is required.

- which website experiences lead to signups; and

Where analytics consent is required and you reject analytics cookies, optional analytics technology is not loaded.
Refusing optional analytics does not prevent you from using the core Discrezo website.
Marketing cookies
If Discrezo uses advertising or campaign-measurement technology, those technologies may help us understand whether advertising led someone to visit or sign up for Discrezo.
Marketing technologies may include technologies operated by third parties.
Where consent or an opt-out right applies, these technologies will be controlled according to your privacy choices.
Discrezo does not currently deploy marketing or advertising technology on this website.
Discrezo does not use the content of your AI conversations to create advertising profiles about you.
Discrezo does not sell access to your saved conversation history to advertisers.
Waitlist functionality
Some information is processed because you explicitly ask us to perform an action.
For example, when you:
- reserve the $8/month Founding Member price;
- apply for the first 5,000 early-access programme;
- verify your email; or
- answer an optional waitlist survey,
Discrezo needs to record information associated with that action.
That processing is part of operating the waitlist and is not made dependent on accepting optional analytics cookies.
Optional advertising or analytics systems remain subject to your cookie choices.
UTM parameters may be recorded in our own first-party waitlist record for internal attribution, subject to our Privacy Policy. They are not sent to advertising platforms where you have rejected the relevant technology.
Cookies and the Discrezo AI product
The website cookie system is separate from Discrezo's AI conversation privacy architecture.
Discrezo does not use cookies to turn your readable AI conversation history into an advertising profile.
Our Privacy and Security pages explain how the AI service separates account identity from inference and how saved conversation history is protected.
Third-party technologies
Some optional technologies may be supplied by third-party providers.
Where a third-party technology is activated, that provider may process information according to the purpose for which the technology is used and subject to applicable privacy obligations.
The cookie table below identifies the technologies actually used by Discrezo. A provider is not listed merely because it is common on other websites.
Three third parties are involved in delivering this website today: our backend and hosting provider, which supports essential delivery, security and the waitlist record; Google Fonts, which serves the website typeface; and Hotjar (Contentsquare), which provides optional analytics and is only loaded after analytics consent is granted. Google Fonts does not set cookies on this site, although your browser connects to Google's servers to download the font files.

Where technically appropriate, Discrezo will also remove optional first-party cookies under its control when the relevant consent is withdrawn.

Blocking essential website technology through browser settings may affect website functionality.
Global Privacy Control and privacy signals
Where applicable law requires Discrezo to recognise a supported browser privacy signal, we will honour qualifying signals.
This may include an applicable opt-out preference signal relating to sale or sharing of Personal Information.
Our systems do not deliberately override a legally applicable opt-out signal with a marketing default.
Do we sell your cookie data?
Discrezo does not sell your readable AI conversations.
Discrezo does not sell your encrypted conversation history.
If website advertising or analytics arrangements ever amount to a "sale" or "sharing" of Personal Information under applicable privacy law, Discrezo will provide the notices and controls required by that law.
How long cookies remain
Different technologies remain on a device for different periods.
Session technologies
Removed when the browsing session ends.
Persistent technologies
Remain until their configured expiry, until you remove them, or until the website replaces or deletes them.
The cookie inventory above identifies the actual duration of each material technology used by Discrezo.
Changes to this Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy if:
- the website changes;
- we introduce new analytics;
- we introduce advertising technology;
- our cookie practices change;
- applicable law changes; or
- our service providers change.
When we update this Policy, we will update the effective date.
Where a change means new consent is required, we will request that consent.
