Service Terms

Effective: 19 August 2026

These Service Terms govern your use of specific Discrezo services and features.

They form part of the Discrezo Terms of Use.

Capitalised terms not defined in these Service Terms have the meanings given to them in the Terms of Use or any other agreement between you and Discrezo governing your use of the Services (the "Agreement").

If these Service Terms conflict with the general Terms of Use in relation to a specific feature covered below, these Service Terms will control for that feature.

01

Automatic AI Routing

Discrezo provides an AI assistant capable of automatically routing requests between supported artificial intelligence models and providers.

When you submit a request, Discrezo may automatically determine which eligible model should process it.

You authorise Discrezo to make that routing decision on your behalf.

Routing may take account of factors such as:

  • the type of task;
  • complexity;
  • context requirements;
  • capabilities required;
  • your selected privacy mode;
  • plan eligibility;
  • provider availability;
  • service health;
  • latency;
  • reliability; and
  • other factors relevant to delivering the Service.

You do not need to select a particular model in the default Discrezo experience.

Different requests within the same conversation may be processed by different models.

No guarantee of a particular model

Discrezo does not guarantee that:

  • a particular provider will process a request;
  • a particular model will remain available;
  • the same model will process every message within a conversation;
  • a model will remain on the same version;
  • the router will always choose the objectively best model; or
  • a particular route will always be available.

We may add, remove, replace or temporarily disable models and providers.

Model names displayed within Discrezo are informational and do not create a guarantee of continued availability.

02

Standard Mode

Standard Mode allows Discrezo to route requests across eligible supported AI services.

Depending on the request, these may include models supplied by providers such as:

  • OpenAI;
  • Anthropic;
  • Google;
  • supported open-model providers; and
  • other approved AI or inference providers.

When a request is processed, the selected AI provider receives the prompt and relevant context required to generate an answer.

Standard Mode is designed around identity separation.

The provider answering the request should not need the identifying information associated with your Discrezo account, such as:

  • your Discrezo account ID;
  • your Discrezo account email;
  • your payment identity; or
  • your originating network identity.

This does not make the content of the prompt invisible to the provider.

If you put identifying or sensitive information inside a request, the AI processing that request can read those words.

03

Private Mode

Private Mode imposes additional restrictions on which providers are eligible to process a request.

When Private Mode is enabled, Discrezo restricts eligible routing to supported open-model routes that meet the requirements we establish for Private Mode.

Private Mode requests will not intentionally be routed to:

  • OpenAI;
  • Anthropic; or
  • Google.

Private Mode restrictions take priority over ordinary model selection.

For example, if a model operated by an excluded provider would otherwise be considered the strongest available model for a particular task, Private Mode prevents Discrezo from selecting that route.

Private Mode does not mean local-only processing

Private Mode does not necessarily mean that all processing occurs on your device.

An external infrastructure provider may still operate the computing resources required to run an eligible open model.

The selected infrastructure therefore needs access to the request in order to perform inference.

Private Mode should not be interpreted as meaning:

"No external system processes my prompt."

It means the request is restricted to the provider routes permitted by Private Mode.

Capability differences

Restricting the available providers can affect:

  • model capability;
  • response quality;
  • latency;
  • context availability;
  • specialist capabilities; and
  • availability.

You accept that a Private Mode answer may therefore differ from an answer generated through Standard Mode.

No silent fallback

If a Private Mode route is unavailable, Discrezo may:

  • select another eligible Private Mode route;
  • temporarily limit the relevant functionality; or
  • return an error.

Discrezo will not intentionally use an excluded provider merely to avoid such an error.

04

AI Providers

Discrezo relies on third-party AI and infrastructure providers to provide portions of the Services.

These providers may:

  • change their models;
  • release new versions;
  • discontinue models;
  • experience outages;
  • change capacity;
  • impose technical restrictions;
  • change performance;
  • change service availability; or
  • otherwise alter the technology available to Discrezo.

Discrezo may modify routing in response to those changes.

Provider eligibility

A model being technically available does not necessarily make it eligible for Discrezo routing.

Discrezo may consider factors including:

  • capability;
  • reliability;
  • privacy requirements;
  • security requirements;
  • operational readiness; and
  • compatibility with the selected privacy mode.

We may disable a provider or model where we reasonably consider that appropriate.

05

Separation of Account and Inference

The Discrezo Service is designed so that account administration and AI inference have different responsibilities.

Account systems may process information necessary for:

  • authentication;
  • account management;
  • subscriptions;
  • billing;
  • plan entitlement; and
  • customer support.

AI inference systems process information necessary to:

  • understand a request;
  • route it;
  • generate an answer; and
  • return that answer.

Discrezo is designed so that ordinary inference does not require those two sets of information to become a single user record.

Our simplified description is:

Discrezo knows who, not what. The AI knows what, not who. Nobody gets both.

This does not anonymise identifying information contained within the words of your prompt.

06

Conversation History and Memory

Where Discrezo provides saved conversations, memory or synchronisation, saved content is designed to be encrypted on a trusted user device before being uploaded for synchronisation.

Discrezo may store encrypted content while not holding the key required to decrypt that content.

The fact that encrypted content is stored does not mean Discrezo can read it.

Device responsibility

Your trusted device is a location where your content may legitimately exist in readable form.

You are responsible for protecting:

  • your device;
  • operating-system account;
  • browser or application;
  • Discrezo credentials; and
  • any recovery mechanism made available to you.

If a trusted device is compromised, the protections provided by server-side separation and encryption may not prevent an attacker with control of that device from accessing readable content.

Loss of access

Depending on how encrypted history and recovery are implemented, losing access to the information required to decrypt your saved content may result in that content becoming unrecoverable.

Discrezo does not guarantee that it will be technically able to recover encrypted conversations for you.

07

Beta, Preview and Early-Access Services

This section applies to any service or feature described as:

  • alpha;
  • beta;
  • preview;
  • experimental;
  • early access;
  • limited release;
  • pre-release; or
  • similar terminology

("Beta Services").

Beta Services are provided to allow testing and evaluation.

They may:

  • contain bugs;
  • change without notice;
  • have reduced capacity;
  • behave unexpectedly;
  • be temporarily unavailable;
  • provide lower-quality Output;
  • lose functionality;
  • be replaced; or
  • never become generally available.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Beta Services are provided "as is" and "as available."

Do not rely on Beta Services where a failure could reasonably result in serious harm.

08

First 5,000 Early Access

Discrezo may invite people who have reserved Founding Member pricing to separately apply to join an initial early-access cohort.

The initial programme may be described as the first 5,000 users programme.

Applying does not automatically mean you have been selected.

Email confirmation

Discrezo may require you to verify your email before an early-access application becomes confirmed.

An application may therefore have different states, including:

  • submitted;
  • email confirmation required;
  • confirmed;
  • selected;
  • invited; or
  • activated.

Submitting an application should not be interpreted as confirmation that access has been granted.

Selection

Where early access is not expressly offered on a first-come, first-served guaranteed basis, Discrezo may determine the timing of access based on matters such as:

  • product capacity;
  • technical readiness;
  • testing requirements;
  • geography;
  • provider availability;
  • product configuration; and
  • launch sequencing.

Founding price is separate

An early-access application is separate from a Founding Member price reservation.

Not being selected for the first early-access cohort does not, by itself, cancel an otherwise valid Founding Member reservation.

09

Business Services

This section applies where Discrezo provides Services through a Business account or workspace.

A Business customer may designate users with administrative privileges ("Administrators").

Depending on the Business features actually enabled, Administrators may be able to:

  • invite users;
  • remove users;
  • suspend user access;
  • assign plan access;
  • manage billing;
  • configure organisation-level settings; and
  • manage other administrative functions made available by Discrezo.

Administrator access to conversations

A Business Administrator does not automatically receive the ability to read a user's encrypted Discrezo conversation history merely because they administer the Business account.

If Discrezo introduces a Business feature that materially changes who can access Content or conversation information, that functionality must be disclosed to the affected customer and users as appropriate.

We will not silently convert encrypted individual conversation history into administrator-readable content.

Customer responsibilities

Business customers are responsible for:

  • ensuring they have authority to create and manage Business accounts;
  • providing appropriate notices to their users;
  • obtaining any consent required by applicable law;
  • configuring Business functionality appropriately; and
  • ensuring their use of Discrezo is permitted within their organisation.

Separate Business Terms, an order form or Data Processing Agreement may also apply.

10

Generated Code

AI models available through Discrezo may be capable of generating:

  • software code;
  • scripts;
  • configuration;
  • commands;
  • database queries;
  • infrastructure instructions; or
  • other technical material.

Generated code may contain:

  • errors;
  • security vulnerabilities;
  • incompatible dependencies;
  • unsafe commands;
  • outdated methods; or
  • material potentially subject to third-party or open-source licensing terms.

You are responsible for reviewing, testing and securing generated code before executing or deploying it.

Do not execute code in a production environment merely because an AI model generated it.

Discrezo does not guarantee that generated code is secure, production-ready or free from third-party licensing obligations.

11

Files and Documents

Where Discrezo permits you to provide documents, files or other attachments as Input, you are responsible for ensuring you have the right to provide that material.

You should not upload material where doing so would:

  • violate another person's rights;
  • breach a confidentiality obligation;
  • breach applicable law; or
  • violate an agreement applicable to you.

Files supplied as context may be provided to an eligible AI provider where necessary to process the request.

The privacy mode selected for the request continues to govern provider eligibility.

12

Web Search and External Information

Where Discrezo offers functionality that retrieves information from the internet or another external source, that information may originate from third parties.

Third-party information may be:

  • inaccurate;
  • incomplete;
  • outdated;
  • misleading; or
  • subject to third-party rights.

Discrezo does not necessarily endorse an external website merely because information from that website appears in an AI response.

Where links or citations are provided, you should review the original source where accuracy matters.

13

Third-Party Connections

If Discrezo later allows you to connect an external application, data source, account or service ("Connected Service"), additional terms may apply.

When you deliberately connect a Connected Service, you authorise Discrezo to exchange the information reasonably necessary to provide the functionality you requested.

Information supplied to the Connected Service may then be handled under that provider's own terms and privacy practices.

You should only connect external services you know and trust.

No automatic permission

Connecting one external service does not give every AI provider unrestricted access to that external account.

The information required for a particular request should be limited according to the relevant feature and privacy architecture.

14

Generated Images, Audio and Other Media

If Discrezo later provides models capable of generating or analysing images, audio, video or other media, additional feature-specific restrictions may be displayed.

You remain responsible for ensuring you have the rights necessary to provide any media used as Input.

Generated media may:

  • resemble existing works;
  • contain inaccuracies;
  • contain artefacts;
  • raise intellectual-property issues; or
  • be unsuitable for a particular use.

Do not assume AI-generated media is automatically free of third-party rights.

15

Medical and Healthcare Use

Discrezo is a general-purpose AI service unless a specific Discrezo product expressly states otherwise.

The Services are not intended to replace a qualified healthcare professional.

AI-generated medical or health information may be inaccurate or incomplete.

You should not rely solely on Output to:

  • diagnose a medical condition;
  • determine treatment;
  • prescribe medication;
  • interpret a medical emergency; or
  • make another significant clinical decision.

Appropriate professional judgement and verification should be used.

Discrezo does not represent that its general consumer Services are medical devices or regulated clinical decision-support products.

16

Legal, Financial and Other Professional Use

The same principle applies to other professional areas.

Discrezo may generate information concerning:

  • law;
  • tax;
  • finance;
  • investments;
  • accounting;
  • compliance;
  • employment;
  • regulation; or
  • other professional subjects.

Such Output is generated by AI and may be inaccurate.

Unless a specific service expressly states otherwise, Discrezo is not acting as your:

  • lawyer;
  • accountant;
  • investment adviser;
  • financial adviser;
  • tax adviser; or
  • other regulated professional.

You remain responsible for obtaining appropriate professional advice where required.

17

Model Safety Restrictions

Underlying models and providers may apply technical or safety restrictions to certain requests.

Because Discrezo routes across multiple providers, different models may:

  • interpret a request differently;
  • refuse different requests;
  • provide different levels of detail;
  • apply different safety controls; or
  • produce materially different Output.

Discrezo does not guarantee identical behaviour across models.

Automatic routing does not give you the right to circumvent restrictions imposed for legal, security or safety reasons.

18

Service Capacity and Usage

Different Discrezo plans may have different:

  • usage allowances;
  • rate limits;
  • context limits;
  • access to computationally intensive routes;
  • service capacity; or
  • other resource limits.

Discrezo may temporarily restrict abnormal or excessive usage where reasonably necessary to:

  • maintain availability;
  • prevent abuse;
  • protect provider capacity;
  • prevent account resale;
  • protect security; or
  • enforce the applicable plan.

Unless expressly described as unlimited, no plan should be assumed to provide unlimited usage.

19

Model Availability by Plan

Different subscription plans may permit different levels of usage or access.

A plan may affect which eligible routes are economically or technically available for a request.

However, model availability remains subject to:

  • provider availability;
  • the selected privacy mode;
  • technical capability;
  • operational health; and
  • other service restrictions.

Payment for a plan does not guarantee perpetual access to a named model.

20

Founding Member Services

Founding Member status is a pricing entitlement relating to the Individual plan.

It is not a separate AI capability tier.

An eligible Founding Member receives the Individual plan at the applicable Founding Member price, subject to the Terms of Use.

Founding Member status does not automatically provide:

  • Pro;
  • Researcher;
  • Business; or
  • every future Discrezo product.

The specific Founding Member pricing rules are set out in the Terms of Use and the relevant offer presented to you.

21

Security and Abuse Controls

Discrezo may apply technical controls designed to protect:

  • users;
  • provider credentials;
  • service availability;
  • privacy boundaries;
  • subscription allowances; and
  • the integrity of the Services.

These controls may include:

  • request limits;
  • account protections;
  • fraud detection;
  • provider restrictions;
  • abuse detection;
  • credential controls; and
  • temporary service restrictions.

You may not circumvent or attempt to circumvent those controls.

22

Security Research

Good-faith security research should be conducted through any vulnerability-disclosure process made available by Discrezo.

Security research does not authorise:

  • accessing another user's data;
  • disrupting the Service;
  • destroying data;
  • obtaining provider credentials;
  • compromising third-party systems;
  • conducting denial-of-service attacks; or
  • acting beyond what is permitted by applicable law or an expressly published security-research policy.

Security concerns can be reported to:

support@discrezo.com

until a separate security reporting channel is published.

23

Changes to Features

AI technology changes rapidly.

Discrezo may:

  • introduce new models;
  • retire models;
  • modify routing;
  • improve the router;
  • add new privacy modes;
  • modify interfaces;
  • introduce new features;
  • remove experimental functionality; or
  • otherwise evolve the Services.

Nothing in these Service Terms guarantees that a particular feature will remain unchanged indefinitely.

Where a change materially affects an existing paid commitment, the Terms of Use and applicable consumer law continue to apply.

24

No Affiliation or Model Endorsement

References to third-party providers or models are used to identify technology that may be available through Discrezo.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, those references do not mean that the relevant provider:

  • owns Discrezo;
  • operates Discrezo;
  • sponsors Discrezo;
  • endorses Discrezo; or
  • has entered into a consumer relationship with you through Discrezo.

Discrezo is not affiliated with OpenAI, Anthropic or Google.

25

These Service Terms and Other Agreements

These Service Terms supplement the Discrezo Terms of Use.

Additional terms may apply to particular products, including:

  • Business Services;
  • enterprise agreements;
  • Data Processing Agreements;
  • APIs, if introduced;
  • developer products, if introduced;
  • Connected Services;
  • regulated products; or
  • other specialised functionality.

Where a separately executed agreement expressly states that it takes precedence over these Service Terms, that agreement will control to the extent of the conflict.
