Your question is still processed by a model
Private mode routes to supported open-model infrastructure. The model still needs to process the question to answer it. Your Discrezo identity is still separated.
Your history
Your conversations are encrypted before they leave your device.
Your saved conversations and memory are encrypted on your device before they are synced. Discrezo's servers can store the encrypted data needed for sync without holding the key required to read it.
Discrezo does not hold the key required to read your saved conversations.

Discrezo separates identity from inference. It does not make the words you type invisible to the AI that must answer them.
The AI sees your prompt
An AI provider must process the question to answer it. Discrezo removes your account identity; it does not remove the question itself.
Your device is the trusted boundary
If your device or credentials are compromised, server-side architecture cannot protect data already readable on that device.
We are subject to law
We may need to respond to valid legal process. We can only disclose what we possess and what we can technically access.
